Resilience Fund for enterprises

More than 3000 Micro,Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) operating in the agriculture sector will be able to compete to benefit from a fund that aims to help in the recovery of MSMEs affected by cyclones registered in the provinces of Sofala, Cabo Delgado, Nampula , and Inhambane as well as by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This US$4 million Fund is provided by USAID through Gapi, S.A. The launch ceremony took place this Tuesday (01/03) in the City of Beira, Sofala Province and on the 08th, the same ceremony will be replicated in the city of Pemba, for the north region of the country. The fund is expected to be revolving and sustainable to continue to provide affordable finance for SMEs in time for crisis in the future.
